    MX is the leading international conference for presentation and discussion of research into interactive media experiences. The conference brings together international researchers and practitioners from a wide range of disciplines, ranging from human-computer interaction, multimedia engineering and design to media studies, media psychology and sociology.

    IMX 2021 will be co-hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology and the BBC.

    Welcome to the 1st ACM International Conference on Multimedia in Asia

    The first ACM Multimedia Asia, puts together the long-lasting experience of former PCM and ICIMCS, which both have good history as well as attending experiences. It is a newly established international conference to showcase the scientific achievements and industrial innovations in the multimedia field. Its mission is to illuminate the state of the art in multimedia computing by bringing together researchers and practitioners in this field. In 2019, ACM Multimedia Asia will be held in Beijing, China with an extensive program that includes technical sessions covering all aspects of the multimedia field in forms of oral and poster presentations, tutorials, panels, demonstrations, workshops, doctoral symposium and grand challenge competitions.

    ACM ICMR 2019 is calling for papers presenting significant and innovative research in multimedia retrieval and related fields. Papers should extend the state of the art by addressing new problems or proposing insightful solutions. The scope of the conference includes core topics in multimedia retrieval and recommendation, as well as the broader set of topics that must be addressed to ensure that multimedia retrieval technologies are of practical use in real-world use cases. Special emphasis is placed on topics related to large-scale indexing, mixed reality user interaction, exploiting diverse and multimodal data, and domain-specific challenges.

    MMSys'20 and its co-located three workshops will be held virtually in a time zone friendly manner, considering participation from Japan/South Korea to the US west coast. To this effect, the speakers have been asked to provide a short video and a longer video (slides with narration), and these videos as well as the proceedings will be shared with the attendees before June 8th.

    It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 10th ACM Multimedia Systems Conference (MMSys 2019) and associated workshops, held from June 18 - 21, 2019 in Amherst, MA, USA.

    ACM MMSys provides a forum for researchers to present and share their latest research findings in multimedia systems. While research about specific aspects of multimedia systems are regularly published in the various proceedings and transactions of the networking, operating systems, real-time systems, databases, mobile computing, distributed systems, and middleware communities, MMSys aims to cut across these domains in the context of multimedia data types. This provides a unique opportunity to investigate the intersections and the interplay of the various approaches and solutions developed across these domains to deal with multimedia data types.

    Since the founding of ACM SIGMM in 1993, ACM Multimedia has been
    an international premier technical conference to showcase the
    scientific achievements and industrial innovations in the multimedia
    field. In 2018, ACM Multimedia will return to Asia in Seoul, Korea with
    an extensive program that includes technical sessions covering all
    aspects of the multimedia field in forms of oral and poster
    presentations, tutorials, panels, exhibits, demonstrations, and
    workshops, as well as Grand Challenge Competitions and Open Source
    Software Competitions. Moreover, an interactive art program will
    again be organized to stimulate artists and computer scientists to
    meet and discover together the frontiers of artistic communication,
    while a Doctoral Symposium will give exposures to budding young
