Attendees requiring an entry visa should inquire at their local Japanese embassy or consulate regarding the required visa and documents. We advise you to apply for your visa as soon as possible, as visa application may take a while.
ACM MM 2012 can provide official letters of invitation to persons who have completed the full or workshop registration and for which payment has been received. To request an invitation letter, please contact visa-app@acmmm12.org by September 18th with the following information:
- Name, affiliation, and postal address.
- Paper ID (provided by Sheridan Printing, and NOT the CMT ID#) and paper title, if applicable.
- ACM/SIGMM Member number, if applicable.
- “Request for ACM MM 2012 Invitation Letter” as the subject of your email.
We will send an invitation letter in PDF format by email. If requested, we will send a hardcopy version of the invitation letter by airmail. We can also issue the employment certificate of the signer of invitation letter, if requested.
For attendees who need other additional documents for visa application, JTB Corp. will issue them with necessary charge. Please write visa template and send it to westec_op13@west.jtb.jp.
